  The 499-foot cooling tower at the decommissioned PGE’s Trojan nuclear power plant was demolished on 21 May 2006.

• HydroVision 2002 Conference in Portland, OR 29 July - 2 August 2002. Some 1,800 people from 51 different countries attended this conference --the year's single most significant gathering of hydro professionals and practitioners from around the world.
